The furniture finally arrived. It was easy to put together and did not frustrate Dad too much! Anna may not use it any time soon, but at least it looks great!

Thanks to Mindy's mom for all of her help in painting and cleaning up the room. Thanks to James for picking up the furniture and helping carry it up to Anna's room.

Great Grandparents!!!

Anna got a visit from her Great Grandparents on Thursday. Gpa and Gma Fritz were on their way back to Indiana for the summer and stopped by for a few hours. One thing's for sure, Gpa Fritz loves babies!

Pediatrician visit

We visited the peditrician on Wednesday, and they were very happy with Anna's progress. She has gained about an ounce a day, and is back up to 5 lbs. 10 oz. They said that an ounce a day is the upper limit to what they usually gain. Also, as you can see, Anna has found her thumb. She really enjoys naps in her swing, and has a new fun activity suggested by the doctor- tummy time! She likes trying to pick her head up, and acts like she is crawling but doesn't get anywhere :).

One week old photos

Here are some photos of Baby Anna as a one week old. The two of her sleeping were taken Thursday, and the picture of her in the swing was taken on Saturday after Brett and Wes' great excursion to Babies 'R' Us.

Baby Acrobat?

I don't really know how she does this, but Anna is very good at sleeping in all sorts of crazy positions. This was the funniest so we took a picture. As you can see, she is passed out with her foot right up at her mouth. To have that kind of flexibility!

Welcome Anna Marie!!!

This is our blog to let you know about all the happenings in Anna's life. She was born on April 9th at 3:58 pm. She weighed 5 lbs. 11 oz. We brought her home on April 11th, and she has been changing our lives for the better every second since!
